Flame of love for 'a Joe show' still burns brightly

He died on St Stephen's Day four years ago but the love for Joe Dolan and his music lives on - as was plain to see for anyone in the Olympia theatre for the opening night of The Night Joe Dolan's Car Broke Down.

It was a wintry Tuesday night but the theatre was close to full and buzzing with anticipation about what playwright Padraic McIntyre would create for this intriguingly titled play... And what he, producer Mary Hanley, and the cast and crew created was a night's feel-good entertainment with Dolan's music at the heart of it.
