The Gonzo Theatre is back and seeking new recruits!

Philip Doherty whose Gonzo Theatre Group will bring three productions to this year's Fleadh.

After the success of The Begrudgers, the Gonzo Theatre cast and crew are taking to the stage once again. For the past nine months, many of the Gonzo crew have been working on The Begrudgers which went on to win the RTÉ Storyland competition in June.

The Gonzo have a very busy summer planned and will be staging three plays during the Fleadh Cheoil. The highly successful plays 'Fleadh Town' and 'Charlie and the Big Friendly Twits' are making a come back for this Fleadh Cheoil after selling out all shows last year.

The Gonzo will also be producing a new play by Philip Doherty called 'The Devils Ceili'. The Gonzo Theatre is hoping to continue growing and getting more and more people involved so we will be holding open auditions for 'The Devil's Ceili' and for other upcoming productions this Sunday, July 15 at 4pm in the top floor of the Imperial.

Everyone is welcome! Scripts will be provided at the auditions. For more information cal 0861275310. Tickets for Fleadh Town are now on sale in the Crannóg bookshop.
