A delighted Shercock Manager Jodie Clarke at the final whistle.

THERE was no shortage of drama and excitement as Shercock and Munterconnaught battled it out for the right to capture the 2011 Cavan Junior Football Championship title and Sean Leddy Cup at Kingspan Breffni Park on Saturday last. In a game packed with incident, Shercock emerged title winners for the first time since 1984, having previously won junior honours in 1979. It was compensation for disappointing defeats in the 1989 final to Shannon Gaels and Kill Shamrocks in 1997.
