Four Cavanmen on Ulster panel

Ulster Interprovincial Football manager Joe Kernan has named a 28-man panel, including four Cavan players, for Sunday's M Donnelly Interprovincial Championship semi-final against Leinster.

Ulster have won the last three instalments and have named a strong team, with Cian Mackey, Rory Dunne, David Givney and Eugene Keating all named.

The following matches have been postponed as a result of the players' involvement: Mountnugent v Belturbet, Castlerahan v Mullahoran and Redhills v Bailieborough.

Players from seven of the nine Ulster counties are selected. Tyrone have the highest number of representatives with seven players, while Donegal have five players involved.

Cavan have four players, as do reigning Ulster champions Monaghan. Derry and Fermanagh have three players each involved, while there are two players from Co. Down. The only counties without representation are Antrim and Armagh.

Kernan was manager last year when Ulster defeated Leinster 3-12 to 0-17 in the final at Croke Park. Of the players that either started or came on against Leinster last year, 10 are named in the panel for Sunday. They are: David Givney, Chrissy McKaigue, Eamonn McGee, Mark McHugh, Michael Murphy, Mark Poland, Conor McManus, Kieran Hughes, Seán Cavanagh and Peter Harte.
