International call-up for McCormack

Eddie McCormack

Eddie McCormack has been included in the team to represent Ireland in the Home Internationals at Ashburnham Golf Club, Wales on 11th - 13th August 2010.

Eddie, now with a handicap of +3, played his formative golf at Co. Cavan Golf Club and currently plays out of Galway Golf Club. This is a extraordinary achievement and is due recognition for his consistency throughout 2010 when he was beaten finalist in the 'West' and third round leader in the East of Ireland championship. Eddie also secured 2 singles wins (out of 3) for Connacht in the recent interprovincial series at Ballinrobe Golf club which obviously impressed the selectors. Eddie expressed his delight at the news of his selection and Co. Cavan Golf Club extends heartiest congratulations and good wishes to him.

Eddie is a son of Pauline and Teddy McCormack, St Felim's Place, Cavan.
