Uneven athletics championships

THE long journey south was made by many athletes and families for these championships.

Perfect conditions

Held in near perfect conditions the mainly flat firm course at St. Augustine`s College made for quick running. Once again the provinces athletes had their fair share of success with comprehensive individual victories coming the way of Clodagh O`Reilly (Annalee), Adam Ingram and Eimear Black with other notable top three finishes for Sarah Jane Flanagan, Kevin Loughran and Andrew Monaghan.

Lagan Valley made the long journey home with two sets of team gold from their Girls and Boys U-15 Squads. Ulster took Gold in the GU-13 and BU-15 races while county teams and other provincial teams also picked up other medals which can be seen in the results summary below.
