Paul Brady sored 1-2 from play for Mullahoran against Denn.

Mullahoran 3-10

Denn 0-9

Mullahoran are safely through as table-toppers in the SFC following a one-sided win over a poor Denn side at Breffni Park this afternoon (Sunday).

First half goals from Paul Brady and Philip Brady gave the Dreadnoughts a 2-7 to 0-6 lead at the break and a penalty from veteran Danny Brady early in the second half saw them move out of sight.

Denn, to their credit, battled well, with Tomás Corr battling hard at midfield and Darren Costello showing well in attack, but Mullahoran were always in control and ran out comfortable 3-10 to 0-9 winners.

Denn - managed by Dreadnoughts clubman Damien O'Reilly - weren't helped by the absence of Martin Cahill due to injury.

Earlier, a fired-up Drumgoon side ousted Ballyhaise from the IFC with a hugely-impressive performance.

Tony Brady's men dominated midfield - Ballyhaise's key man Ray Cullivan started at full-forward - and with Paddy McCabe on fire up front, they ran out comfortable four-point winners.

Among those to impress were McCabe, Keith Fannin, full-forward Jim McNally and centre-forward Niall Fortune; the losers never really got going and didn't approach anything near their best form.

Elsewhere, Killeshandra Leaguers hammered Butlersbridge by 4-15 to 0-9 in Redhills to secure their place in the last eight.

The Cavan camogie side drew with Monaghan in the All Ireland Junior B final at Ashbourne also - details to follow.
