Outsider Dolan fails to switch off the Power

Belcoo native Brendan Dolan came tantalising close to lifting darts World Grand Prix title when he was defeated 6-3 by reigning world champion Phil 'The Power' Taylor on Sunday evening. A 500/1 outsider at the beginning of the competition Dolan surpassed all expectations to reach the decider at Citywest, Dublin. The Fermanagh man admitted, "I didn't dream of it because of the way I was playing coming into it, but I knuckled down and analysed my throw, changed things, and it has worked for me."
