Nevin's bronze seals his London spot

It is certainly impossible to keep Cavan Boxing Club out of the news these days. As John Joe Nevin arrives home from his heroics at the World Senior championships in Baku another with Olympic aspirations Ciere Smith heads of to Rotterdam in Holland for the European Women's Championships while at the very novice end of the game the club enjoyed further success at the Ulster Novice championships in Toomebridge.

However with all this success comes some disappiontment as head coach and founder member of the club Brian McKeown has announced his intention to retire from the game.
