Two World Champions and the 'People’s Champ’ set for Cavan

On Monday, March 24 The Hotel Kilmore, Cavan will host a snooker extravaganza with a world class line-up. Six times World Champion Steve Davis will be Joined by Ken Doherty and 'The People’s Champion’, Jimmy White.
Arguably the most popular player ever to have picked up a cue, there can be little doubt that Jimmy White is also the most talented player never to have won the world title as his otherwise sizeable trophy collection demonstrates.
Known as the Whirlwind for his quick and easy on the eye style, Jimmy is also an outstanding player when using the rest, which has proved to be a great asset down the years.
His game might not now be as strong as it once it was, but he continues to fight hard and keep his legion of fans coming back for more.
Ken Doherty will always be remembered for his historic World Champioship victory over Stephen Hendry in 1997. He is still regarded as one of the sport’s top seeds, and when he is not plying his trade on the World Snooker circuit Ken can be found in a radio studio presenting his weekly sports show on Sunshine Radio in Dublin.
Poker is his second passion and the Dubliner is a devoted Man Utd fan.
Steve Davis has just made his way out of the jungle after a successful appearance on 'I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here’.
The six times World Champion is still competing on the professional scene, but with his friend and collegue Ken Doherty he is now regarded as one of the most incisive analyists on television and is already preparing for a busy stint on the BBC during there coverage of this year’s World Snooker Finals.

Tickets for this very special show are now on sale at the reception desk in The Hotel Kilmore, Cavan.

Special ticket packages include OAP/students €15, general admisson €25.

Special VIP packages are also available, which includes a meet and greet with the players including photographs and some refreshments. Patrons will also be guaranteed special seats at the main event.
