Cavan county board have revealed three new appointments to Terry Hyland's senior football management team, headlined by the arrival of former Mayo midfielder Liam McHale.

McHale, who was part of the St Brigid's management team which won the All-Ireland club title, will take over as 'Player Performance Coach', with former Cavan Gaels and Killeshandra player and London coach Kevin Downes to be installed as a selector.

Dubliner Eoin Maguire is to take up the Strength and Conditioning role.

A statement released this evening (Sunday) said:

Cavan County Board are delighted to announce a number of additions to our senior management team for 2015.

Terry Hyland will continue as manager with both Anthony Forde and Padraig Dolan as selectors. 

Former Killeshandra & Cavan Gaels player Kevin Downes joins the team as a selector whilst Liam McHale is coming in as player performance coach with Eoin Maguire taking up the post of strength & conditioning coach.
