A twotime superbowl winner is a secret cavan football fan

The Cavan senior football team began their preparations for last night's 1-15 to 0-15 win over New York with a motivational talk from a very special athlete.

Former New York Giants star David Diehl, a winner of two Superbowl rings, was ferried by limousine to meet the Cavan team and delivered a mesmerising talk.

'It was one of the best talks I've ever heard, he was just unbelievable,' said Cavan full-back Rory Dunne.

And Diehl passed on his regards to the Blues on his official instagram account later on.
