ACFL round-up: No change at top of Division 1

Paul Fitzpatrick

Lacken Celtic remain top of Division 1 of the All-County Football League after they drew with Cootehill on Friday evening.

The Crowe Park outfit are on nine points, followed by Cootehill on seven, with Kingscourt - who had an eye-catching win over Cavan Gaels - and Castlerahan on seven.

A penalty from Jonny McCabe and a late point from Peter Morris helped Arva snatch a draw against a Jack Brady-inspired Ramor in Virginia, while Enda Henry landed 1-3 for Belturbet as they saw off local rivals Drumlane in Division 1B.

Meanwhile, Declan Meehan landed a whopping 4-5 for the Cavan Gaels second string as they put eight goals past Munterconnaught.
