Red hot Cole savours the winning feeling

After 10 years playing senior football for Ramor, Ado Cole's dream came true today when he won his first SFC medal - and he picked up the Man of the Match award to boot.

'It's great, to win is the most important thing. The whole team played well,' said the full-forward, who finished with 0-4 from play.

'I was just saying that to my friend there two seconds ago, it didn't look great at one point but once we settled down, we never panicked, we kept motoring on and eventually we got the scores to pull it back.

'It was a frustrating game, they were a lot more defensive today and we just had to break them down. We kept going and just got over the line. 

'I'm playing since 2006, it's been a long time coming but we got this year. It makes it all worthwhile.'
