Rural Rambles series visits Mullagh

Family run businesses are ticking along nicely in Mullagh with husband and wife teams giving service with a smile. As we find that the recession affects what people are buying, it's clear that there is still a very social aspect to business life in a rural Irish town like Mullagh, not to mention quality of life is still high up on the priority lists... There's a great work ethic in the town of Mullagh and environs and in order to savour the people's perspective on life on a blustery November day, myself and photographer Charlie Cronin dropped in for a few hours last Thursday afternoon.
