How a 91-year-old can make you feel young again

Have you ever felt better just for being in the company of a person so lovely that they radiate positive energy? Eileen Hannigan has all the ways of the grandmother of your dreams. Kind, wise, serene, gentle and joyful, she wants nothing more than to make you feel happy and good about yourself. By the time you leave - tanked up on tea, fruitcake, chocolate biscuits and joie de vivre - you do. The second time I go back to visit her, she offers the photographer Adrian Donohoe coffee made with hot milk and insists on producing a whisk to make it just perfect for him. I down my tea and biscuits like a child lapping up the comfort, and we leave Eileen with her cup of cold tea which she swears she'll drink afterwards as she's been too animated chatting to us to have time for a sip.
