Cavan farmer gets stolen sheep back
A Kingscourt farmer who had 17 sheep believed stolen from a field as he slept in his nearby home two weeks ago has had his sheep returned to him after a fortnight of leaving no stone unturned in a bid to get his stock back. As well as reporting the incident to the local gardaí, Colin McCabe, Kingscourt put ads on LMFM and www.donedeal.com offering a reward for information and contacted clairvoyants - both of whom told him it was a group of four men with a pick-up and trailer who were responsible. He also called to houses in the area, and, now that he is reunited with his sheep, Colin concludes that "it pays to do a lot of talking and get the word out". Full story in this week's Anglo-Celt.
