Vet allays fears over high cull rate

A Cavan vet has allayed fears in the farming community that there is a high cull rate among the dairy stock in the county. It was estimated that the cull rate was running at about 20% in the Holstein Friesian and suckler cows and it had set alarm bells ringing for many farmers.
