Helen McCauley (née Kelly)

Mahanagh, Drumshanbo, Leitrim

Helen passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her sister Mae, brothers Packie, Peter & Michael.

Deeply regretted by her loving husband, Bernard, daughter, Helen (Keville, Ballinafad), son, Hugh, and brother Hubert. Much loved and sadly missed by her grandchildren Michelle, Bernard, Aisling, Niamh, Caoimhe, Érin, Róisín and Eoghan, son-in-law Michael, daughter-in-law Ita and sister-in-law Kathleen, nieces, nephews, extended family, wonderful neighbours, kind carers and friends.

Rest In Peace

Reposing at the home of Hugh & Ita on Friday 23rd from 3pm -7pm for family, neighbours and close friends.

A private funeral for family and close friends will take place in St Patrick’s Church, Drumshanbo at 11am on Saturday 24th October in accordance with current Government & HSE guidelines. Burial afterwards in new Cemetery, Drumshanbo.

Benny (Bernard) Brennan

Kinard, Castleshane, Monaghan

The death has occurred of Benny (Bernard) Brennan, Kinard, Castleshane and formerly Feddans, Castleshane, on Wednesday 21st October, peacefully, at Cavan General Hospital. Predeceased by his father James, his mother Sarah and his brother Packie (Keady).

Deeply regretted by his brothers Jim (Tullycorbet), John (Clones Rd,Monaghan), Tom (Blackrock), Michael (Braddox), Peter (Feddans) and his sisters Mary Quinn (Billies, Monaghan), Alice McAdam (Monaghan) and Kathleen Murphy (Belfast), his Sisters-in-law, and Brothers-in-law, and his nieces, nephews, neighbours and friends.

May his gentle soul rest in eternal peace

Benny's funeral will arrive at Saint Mary's Church, Clontibret, for 2pm Funeral Mass on Friday, 23rd October, with interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Funeral cortège will travel from Cavan, via Ballybay, Tullycorbet, Braddox, Killaneal, passing his late residence at Kinard and on to the church. Due to Covid 19 restrictions, Benny's funeral Mass will be celebrated privately.
