Donald Moffett

Alder House, Clara Lane, Cootehill, Cavan

peacefully at his home, on Wednesday, 2nd December 2020, surrounded by his loving family. Donald will be sadly missed by his heartbroken family, his wife Mary, daughters Lorna, Paula and Donna, sons Mark and Dara, grand-daughter Luna, his parents Stanley and Frances, sister Fiona (Bertram, Billis, Virginia), brother-in-law Robert, nieces Alana and Carla, the entire family circle and many friends.

Due to the current Covid restrictions the house and funeral are strictly private.

The funeral cortege will leave Donald's home on Saturday, 5th Dec., at 11am, travelling via The Holy Family School, Cootehill, turning right for Cootehill and onto Cavan Crematorium for Funeral Service at 12 noon. Those who wish to pay their respects along the route may do so. Please adhere to the social distancing guidelines at all times.

Family flowers only. Donations in memory of Donald, if so desired, to Cavan/Monaghan Palliative Care, (Cheques made payable to same), C/o Conly Funeral Directors, Ballybay, Co. Monaghan or any family member. Condolences may be left below.

Killagoan, Killeshandra, Cavan

O'Reilly, Killygoan, Killeshandra, County Cavan, 2nd December 2020, peacefully at the Mater Hospital, Dublin, surrounded by his family, Christopher, very deeply regretted by his wife Sharon, sons Dean, Ryan and Scott, his mother Rita, brothers Brendan, Michael and twin brother Liam, sister Evelyn, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, mother-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Rest in Peace.

Funeral cortege will depart Lawlor's Funeral Home, Belturbet at 10.15am on Friday morning to arrive at St. Brigid's Church, Killeshandra (via Ardlougher) for Funeral Mass at 11am, followed by burial in adjoining cemetery.

Due to ongoing health concerns and current government restrictions, Christopher's Funeral Mass will remain private, but can be viewed live online at

Patrick (Paddy) Reilly

Cuppenagh, Glangevlin, Cavan

The death has occurred of Patrick (Paddy) Reilly, Cuppenagh, Glangevlin , Co. Cavan peacefully at Sligo University Hospital following a short illness.

Predeceased by his brother Frank and his sisters Mary Catherine and Bridie. Deeply regretted by his sisters Susanne Flanagan and Sarah Earley (London), nephews, nieces, neighbours and friends.

Remains reposing at Keegans Funeral Home, Dowra from 6pm-7.30pm this Thursday evening for family and friends only.

Funeral mass on Friday at 11am in St. Patricks Church, Glangevlin with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Due to current government and HSE guidelines the funeral mass is private to family and close friends.

Thomas Crawley

Rocktate, Carrickmacross, Monaghan / Dundalk, Louth

The death has occurred of Thomas Crawley, Rocktate, Corcreaghy, Carrickmacross, Co. Monaghan, peacefully surrounded by his beloved family at Castleross Nursing Home, Carrickmacross, Wednesday, 2nd December 2020. Predeceased by his wives Teresa and Mary, son Paul, sister May and brother Michael. Sadly missed and remembered with love by his loving family daughter Suzanne, sons Michael, Thomas, Gerard, Martin and Andrew, brothers Paddy & Brendan, sisters Anna, Susan and Angela, son-in-law Ross, daughters-in-law Margaret, Jennifer and Tanya, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

In an effort to prevent the spread of Covid-19 and in respect of Government Guidelines for Level 3, Thomas’ Funeral and burial will be celebrated privately with his family. Thomas’ Funeral cortège will travel from Deery’s Funeral Home, Carrickmacross on Friday morning via Roe's Cross to arrive at St. Enda’s Church, Killanny for Requiem Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in Ballapousta Cemetery, Ardee.

Annie (Anne) Skelton Vance

Scarva House, Clones, Monaghan / Belfast, Antrim

VANCE, Annie (Anne) Skelton - 1 December 2020, of 1 Cricklewood Crescent, Stranmillis, Belfast, and Scarva House, Clones, Co. Monaghan, peacefully at Gnangara Care Home, Enniskillen. Predeceased by her siblings Charlotte (Harley), Douglas and William (Billy), sister-in-law Barbara and nephew John (Johnny). Sadly missed by her sister-in-law Maeve, brother-in-law Robert (Roy), her nieces and nephews and wider family and friends. A dedicated teacher, predominantly in Ashleigh House School (now Hunterhouse College), and devoted charity volunteer throughout her life.

In accordance with current Government and H.S.E. guidelines Anne's Funeral Service will be celebrated in the presence of her family (limited to 25) and burial afterwards in Ballyalbany Graveyard. For those who cannot attend, Anne's Remain's will leave Scarva at approx 12.15pm, Friday, 4th December, for Funeral Service in Clones Presbyterian Church, Clones at 1pm. House private due to the current covid restrictions.
