Terry Coyne Finney, Tourmakeady, Co Mayo and Bryanstown, Ballinea Mullingar, Co Westmeath and Bronx, New York, died 26th February 2021, peacefully, at Sloan Kettering Hospital, New York City, after a long illness bravely borne. Predeceased by his infant daughter Geraldine, his parents Martin & Julia & his brother Joe. Deeply regretted his loving wife of 57 years Peggy, daughters Rosemarie (Sheanon, Killygarry, Cavan), Ann Margaret (Gargan), sons Terrance (Michelle), Brendan (Jodi), his 11 grandchildren, brother Pat, sisters Maureen (O'Shea), Rose (Molloy) nieces, nephews and extended family and friends

Funeral and burial to take place next week in the Bronx at St Barnabas Church.

The death has occurred of Ita (Bridgid) Daly, nee Dowd, Cloughbally Lower, Mullagh, Co. Cavan. Saturday 27th February peacefully at St. Mary's Hospital Navan. Predeceased by her husband T.J. and sister Betty. Sadly missed by her sons Tommy (New York), Richie, Micheal (Cloughbally Lower), Patricia (Holland). Sisters Rosealeen and Vera. Daughters-in -law Bernie, Nicole and Helena and Patricia's partner Simon. Grandchildren T.J, Ellen, Shay, Niall, Anna, Caoimhe, Tadhg, Aoife, Liam and Tommy. Nieces, nephews and extended family, neighbours and friends.

Bríd McEvoy, Swan Lake, Cornagran, Loch Gowna, Co Cavan and formerly McEvoy's Chemist, Main Street, Granard, Co Longford, on Saturday, February 27th. Peacefully, at her home, in Loch Gowna. Predeceased by her precious son Alan and her brother Jerome. Sadly missed by her sister Helen Dardis and brother Michael, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and many, many friends.

Service of thanksgiving for her life will be celebrated on Wednesday March 3rd at 12 noon at Lakelands Funeral Home and Crematorium, Dublin Road, Cavan, followed by cremation.

May her gentle soul rest in peace

The death has occurred of Francis (Francie) Rooney, late of Crossalare, Laragh, Castleblayney, on Saturday, 27th February 2021, peacefully at his residence, surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband and best friend of Ann, adored father of Franceta, Helena and Sonya and cherished brother of Jim. Deeply missed by his heartbroken wife, daughters, brother, son-in-law Charlie, and John, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Funeral cortege will leave Francis’ home on Monday morning at 10.30am to arrive at St. Mary’s Church, Lisdoonan, for Requiem Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in St. Mary’s New Cemetery, Lisdoonan. Due to current restrictions and guidelines, Francis’ funeral mass will be celebrated in the presence of his family (10 people). The mass will be live streamed on www.ChurchServices.tv/Lisdoonan.

The community of neighbours and friends are welcome to pay their final tribute to Francis by lining the route, in a socially distanced manner, as his remains are brought from his home to the church on Monday morning.

The death has occurred of Elizabeth (Lizzy) Clerkin, nee McArdle, Lattycrum, Shantonagh, Castleblayney, Co. Monaghan, on the 27th February 2021, peacefully, at Castleross Nursing Home. Predeceased by her husband Thomas, her son Pat and grandson Patrick. Sadly missed by her daughters Maureen and Eilish and sons Brian and Francis, sons in law Sean and Sean and daughters in law, Teresa Una and Cora, her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Funeral cortège travelling from her residence, via McEneaney's Cross and Larkins Cross, to Saint Mary's Church, Carrickatee, on Monday the 1st March for 11am Funeral Mass. Interment afterwards in adjoining cemetery.

Due to ongoing restrictions surrounding Covid 19, Lizzy's Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the presence of her immediate family.
