Thomas (Tom) Faulkner

Billis, New Inn, Ballyjamesduff, Cavan

The death has occurred of Tom Faulkner, Billis, New Inn, Ballyjamesduff, Co. Cavan, on Monday, 1st March 2021, suddenly, at Cavan General Hospital. Sadly missed by his wife Alice, sons Clinton and Sam, daughter Donna and family, mother Eunice, brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, cousins, family and friends.

Leaving his home at 12.00 o'clock on Thursday, 4th March, to arrive at Billis Parish Church for Funeral Service at 12.30pm. Burial afterwards in adjoining Churchyard. Family flowers only please donations if so desired to Alzheimer's Society of Ireland care of Freddie Kettyle undertaker, Billis, Virginia or any family member. House private to family only please.

In keeping with current government guidelines regarding public gatherings Tom's Funeral will be private for family only (limit to 10 people in Church).

Robert (Bob) Henry

Coronagh, Virginia, Cavan

The death has occurred peacefully of Robert (Bob) Henry, Coronagh, Virginia, Co. Cavan on 1 March 2021, peacefully in the care of the staff of Cavan General Hospital. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving wife Helen, sons Alfred and James, daughter in law Linda, grandchildren Aoife, Emma and Jamie, brothers Joe and Eamon and sister Irene (Farrelly), sisters-in-law Bella, Ann Joe and Mina, brothers-in-law John, Moss and Dio, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Bob’s Funeral cortège will leave Matthews Funeral Home at 2.45 o’clock on Thursday afternoon, via Ryefield and Munterconnaught Road, to arrive at Virginia Parish Church for 3.30 o’clock service followed by private cremation in Lakelands Crematorium at 5.15 o’clock. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu, if desired, to Virginia Cancer Care Fund c/o the Funeral Director or any family member. People are invited to form a guard of honour, if they so wish to, along the route of the funeral cortège from Matthew's Funeral Home, Virginia, via Ryefield and Munterconnaught Road, as a mark of respect. We ask all those who wish to pay their respects along the routes to acknowledge social distancing at all times.

Bob’s family would like to acknowledge the wonderful kindness, exceptional care and devotion of all the staff who looked after him in Surgical 2 and PDU in Cavan General Hospital.

Bridget (Bridgie) Lyons (née Lynch)

Acton, London and formerly Dingins, Corlismore, Arva, Cavan

The death has occurred on the 16th February 2021 of Bridget (Bridgie) Lyons (nee Lynch) Acton, London and formerly Dingins, Corlismore, Arva, Co. Cavan.

Beloved wife and best friend of Johnny (deceased). Devoted mother to Enda, Marie and Geraldine. Will be sadly missed by her family and relatives, including her sister, Teresa Smith, Main Street, Arva, Co. Cavan, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, neighbours and friends.

Bridgie’s funeral Mass will take place in Acton, Wednesday, 3rd March, at 10am.

Sean Kingham

Culloville, Castleblayney, Monaghan

The death has occurred of Sean Kingham, Corrcullionsrew, Culloville, Castleblayney, Co Monaghan. Peacefully, at The Royal Victoria Hospital, Belfast, surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his parents John Joe and Maura, his children Patrick & Joseph and his sister Noreen. Beloved husband of Anne, adored father of John, Paul & Maria. Sadly missed by his sisters Moyra (Doherty), Violet (Mackin), Rita (McIntyre) & Irene (Malone), daughters-in-law Hannah & Kym and son-In-law David, grandchildren Khloe, Patsy, Paige, JJ, Grace & Amy.

May Sean's Gentle Soul Rest In Eternal Peace.

Removal on Friday (05/03/2021) via 29 Riverside at 10.30 a.m., arriving at St. Macartan's Cathedral, Monaghan for Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. followed by cremation at Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan at 1 p.m. House and funeral strictly private (limited to 10), due to Covid 19 restrictions.

George LEONARD

The Walk, Roscommon Town, Roscommon / Fairview, Dublin / Monaghan Town, Monaghan

GEORGE LEONARD The Walk, Roscommon town and formerly of Fairview, Dublin and Monaghan town. March 1st, 2021; (Peacefully), in the devoted care of the staff at St Francis’ Hospice, Blanchardstown. Loving husband of Pauline and much loved Dad to Liana. He will be very sadly missed by his family, his brother Michael and Michael’s wife Penny, his niece Hannah, nephew Robert, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, extended family and friends.

May George Rest in Peace.

His funeral cortege will depart from Smyth’s Funeral Home, Roscommon on Thursday morning at 10.30 o’c and arrive at the Sacred Heart Church, Roscommon for Mass of the Resurrection at 11 o’c.
