Mae (Mary) Caffrey (née Duignan)

Glasnevin, Dublin / Corlismore, Cavan

Caffrey (née Duignan) Mae (Mary) (Glasnevin, Dublin 9 and formerly of Corlismore, Co. Cavan), September 30th 2021, (peacefully) at the Mater Hospital after a short illness. Beloved wife of the late Stephen and mother of John, Gerry, Anne, Paul, Vinny, Noel & Bernie. Sadly missed by her loving children, daughters-in-law Bernie, Siobhan, Yvonne and Lisa, sons-in-law Mark and Dara, her grandchildren Aoife, Leah, Sean, Hugh, Stephen, Matthew, Róisín, Jack, Adam, Eric, Oisín, Cian, Tiernan, Caoimhe, Oran, Charlie and Sofia, brother-in-law Eddie and sister-in-law Mae, nieces, nephews, relatives and many friends and neighbours.

Reposing at her home on Friday evening from 4pm until 7pm. Removal on Saturday morning to St. Columba's Church, Iona Road for 10.30am Funeral Mass, followed by burial in Dardistown Cemetery.

Due to Covid 19 restrictions and following Government advice, the Church capacity is reduced and attendance at Mae's Funeral is strictly by invitation only.

Mary Howley (née Hayes)

Main Street, Mooncoin, Kilkenny / Ballyhaise, Cavan

Main Street, Mooncoin, Co. Kilkenny & Waterford Residential Care Centre & formerly of Ballyhaise, Cavan. Mary passed away peacefully on Thursday. Predeceased by her beloved husband, Kieran. Deeply regretted by her loving family, daughter, Marion (Fewer), sons Pat, Kieran, Martin, Noel and Eugene, sisters, Mina (O’Neill) and Breda (Walshe) daughters-in-law Mary, Diane, Detta and Janet, adored grandchildren and great-grandchildren, neighbours, relatives and friends.

Rest In Peace.

Reposing on Friday at Donnacha Doyle & Sons Funeral Home, Grannagh, Kilmacow, from 5.00pm until 8.00pm. Arriving on Saturday at The Church of the Assumption, Mooncoin (via her residence) for Requiem Mass at 12.00 noon, followed by burial in the old Cemetery.

Pat Lynch, Clonkeefy, Oldcastle & St. Assams Drive, Raheny, Dublin, 30th September 2021. Pre-deceased by his wife Helen, daughter Margaret and son Joseph. Deeply regretted by his sister Anna, sisters-in-law Ann, Collette and Bridget, nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Gibney’s Funeral Home, Oldcastle, on Friday evening from 6–8 pm. Funeral Mass on Saturday at 12 noon in St. Mary's Church, Castlerahan, Ballyjamesduff, Co. Cavan, burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery. Strict Covid restrictions will be in place at all times. The Funeral attendance will be limited to 50% of church capacity. House private, please.

Henny (Henry) Martin

Marahill, Crossdoney, Cavan

Henny Martin, Marahill, Crossdoney, County Cavan, 29th September 2021, peacefully, at Cavan General Hospital, surrounded by family. Predeceased by his parents, brothers and sisters. Sadly missed by his nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at McMahons Funeral Home in Cavan on Friday, 1st October, from 5pm to 7pm. Removal on Saturday at 1.30pm to St. Patrick's Church, Drumcor for Funeral Mass at 2pm. Burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery. Current Government and HSE guidelines will be followed.

Liam (Alan) O'REILLY

Stillorgan, Dublin / Ballyconnell, Cavan

O’REILLY, Liam (Alan) September 29th, 2021 (Stillorgan, Co. Dublin, formerly of Ballyconnell, Co. Cavan) peacefully, at home, surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his eldest son, Jerome. Loving and much loved husband of Mary (Friel), father of Olga, Jude, Ultan and Morgan. Liam will be forever loved and sadly missed by his wife and family, son-in law Barry, daughters-in-law Lorraine, Elizabeth and Carmel, his adored grandchildren, Conor, Darragh and Niall, Robyn and Jane, Aidan and Emily, Lauren, Pearse and Senan, brothers-in law, sister-in-law, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Late of Moyar, Kingscourt, Cavan. Peacefully at his home, surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his parents Ewen and Ellen, brothers Benny, Jimmy and Charlie, sisters Margaret and Mae. Sadly missed by his loving wife Maggie, sons Eoin and Philip, daughter Sarah-Jane, daughter-in-law Lorraine, son-in-law Niall, Eoin’s partner Rafaella, brother Eugene, sisters Kathleen (Cooney) and Veronica, grandchildren Charlie, Sadie, Archie, Ada, Conor, Frankie and Rachel, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, and a wide circle of friends.

John (Sean) Tierney

Fishkill & Yonkers, New York / Aughara, Shercock, Cavan / Brosna, Kerry / Kildalkey, Meath

Tierney John (Sean) (Fishkill, New York and formerly of Aughara, Shercock, Co. Cavan) 28th September, 2021 peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family after a long illness. Sean is survived by his beloved wife Janey and his adoring children David, Pauline, Diane Potterton (Kildalkey, Co Meath), Kathleen and Deirdre. Sean will be sadly missed by his sons-in-law, Tim, Nicky and Paul and his beloved grandchildren Sinead, Paul, Nicholas, Jessica, Rachelle, Sean, Lauren and Kieran. Sean is predeceased by his parents Terence and Mary Tierney Aughara, Shercock, Co. Cavan and his brother Pat and sister Moira. He will be sadly missed by his sisters Margaret (Balzan) and Pauline (Mc Evoy) his nieces, nephews, relatives and many friends.

A celebration of Sean's life will take place at the Pelham Funeral Home located at 64 Lincoln Avenue, Pelham, New York, on Sunday, October 3rd, from 1pm to 6pm. A mass of Christian burial will take place on Monday, October 4th, at St. Barnabas Catholic Church located at E 241st St, Bronx, New York, at 9:30 am. Kathleen Leonard (née Mc Entee)

Threemilehouse, Monaghan / Blanchardstown, Dublin

Kathleen passed away on Wednesday, 29th September, aged 92 years, at Mullinahinch House Nursing Home, surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her husband Tom. Sadly missed by her son, daughter, brother, sisters and lots of family and friends.

Kathleen's remains reposing at Mc Kenna's funeral home, Park St. Monaghan, today Thursday and tomorrow, Friday, from 5 o'clock until 7o'clock. Kathleen's funeral will arrive at St. Mary's Church, Threemilehouse on Saturday morning for 11am requiem Mass. Private burial will take place afterwards in Mulhuddart Cemetery, Dublin, at approximately 2pm. Capacity of church is at 50%.
