It is with regret that we note the following deaths in our community over the past few days, as reported on RIP.ie

Patricia Brady (née O'Meara)

Relaghan, Shercock, Cavan

Brady (nee O’Meara) Patricia, Relaghan, Shercock, Co. Cavan, October 8th 2021, peacefully in the loving care of the staff at St Francis Hospice, Blanchardstown. Beloved wife of Colm. Deeply regretted by her loving Sons Mark and Damian, daughter and son in-law, her grandchildren, her brother and sisters, brothers and sisters in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Rest in peace.

Reposing at her home Saturday, 9th of October. Removal from her home Sunday, 10th of October, at 12.15 to arrive at Lakelands Crematorium for Funeral Ceremony at 1.15pm. Capacity will be limited to 50%.

Samuel (Sam) Foster

Drumcoghill , Cornafean, Cavan

Samuel Foster, Drumcoghill, Cornafean, Co Cavan. Passed away peacefully on 8th. October 2021.at the Lisdarn Unit for the Elderly. Predeceased by his wife Sandra and brother James. Sadly missed by his sorrowful son Reg, sister Georgina, brother William, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews,relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at his home on Saturday from 5pm until 8pm.and all day Sunday. Removal from his home on Monday at 1-15pm. travelling via Cornafean Cross, Cartwright Rocks, Killeshandra, Ardloughter, Sheehans to arrive at Kildallan Church of Ireland for Funeral Service at 2pm. Burial afterwards in the adjoining graveyard.

Safe in the arms of Jesus.

Covid 19 guidelines apply. Friends and neighbours are welcome to stand along the route to the Church while following Social Distancing Rules .The Church is limited to 75 people.

Cecil Millar

Kells Road, Bailieborough, Cavan

Cecil Millar, Kells Road, Bailieborough, Co. Cavan, died 7th October 2021, peacefully, at St Christopher's Hospice, Cavan, surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his wife Rose, his baby sons Dermot and Stephen.

"Safe in the arms of Jesus"

Deeply regretted by his loving daughters Glenda and Karen, sons in law Colm and Stephen, grandchildren Daragh, James, Kian, Leanne, Jamie and Amy, brothers Victor and Norman, sister Lilly, mother in law Mary Daly, brothers in law, sisters in law, nieces, nephews, relatives and wide circle of friends.

Resting at his residence Friday from 4pm-8pm. Funeral Saturday to arrive at Bailieborough Parish Church for funeral service at 2pm with Burial afterwards in St Anne's Cemetery. The capacity of the church will be limited to 50 percent.
