Drumbee, Kilnaleck, Cavan / Longford

Joseph (Josie) Byers, Drumbee, Kilnaleck, Co. Cavan and St. Joseph's Nursing Home, Longford, Wednesday, October 13th (peacefully) in his 90th year. Deeply regretted by his sister Jean Stewart (Killoe), nieces Anne (Stuart) and Jackie, nephews Arthur (Loretta) and Martin, grand-nephews Ewan and Graeme, relatives, friends and neighbours.

Resting at Briody's Funeral Home, Kilnaleck, on Saturday evening from 5pm to 7pm. Funeral service on Sunday in St. Patrick's Church, Kildrumferton at 2pm. Interment afterwards in the adjoining churchyard. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if desired to St. Patrick's Church repair fund c/o Briody's Funeral Home. Church capacity will be restricted to 50% in line with current Government and HSE guidelines. Please adhere to social distancing guidelines at all times.

Brian Perry

Annagh, Belturbet, Cavan

Brian Perry, Annagh, Belturbet, Co. Cavan, peacefully, at his residence, 13th October 2021. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his sister Susan, brother-in-law Alan, cousins, relatives and friends.

Rest in Peace.

Remains will leave Lawlor's Funeral Home on Saturday morning at 10.30am to arrive at Lakelands Crematorium for 11am funeral service and cremation.

Due to current Government & HSE guidelines, Brian’s service will be private to family and close friends only. The ceremony can be viewed online at lakelandscrematorium.ie. Click on livestream and enter password Lakelandsfuneral2021.

Alan Hobart

Mayfair, London and formerly, Scotstown, Monaghan

The death has occurred of Alan Hobart, 24 Farm Street, Mayfair, London WIJ 5RQ and formerly Scotstown, Monaghan, 17th September, suddenly and unexpectedly at his residence, in the company of his beloved wife Mary, nee McKenna (Owenie), Scotstown.

Alan is mourned by his heartbroken wife Mary, his siblings Brian & Marion, nephews & nieces, brother in law & sisters in law, and his wide circle of of relatives, friends and acquaintances in London and Scotstown, Monaghan.

May his gentle soul Rest in Peace.

Alan's remains will leave McMahon's Funeral Home, Emyvale, H18 FK80 on Monday morning at 10.30am to arrive at St. Mary's Church, Urbleshanny, Scotstown, for 11am funeral Mass (limited to 50% church capacity, streamed live on 'Tydavnet Parish RC Churches' Facebook page). Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
