Elizabeth (Betty) Nugent (née Smith)

Ballyglasheen, Kilsheelan, Clonmel, Co Tipperary and late of Bailieboro Co Cavan

Passed away at her home in the company of her loving family on the 21st October 2021.

Beloved wife of Sean and dearly beloved mother of Sean (Jnr), Patrick, Rosemary, Ailish and Fiona. Sadly missed by her loving family, brothers Francis and J.J sisters Anne, Kathleen and Julie. Her dearly loved grandchildren, Shauna, Makala, Conor, Josh, Sean Tom, Jimmy, Katelyn and Scott and Eve, daughters in law Marian and Brid son in law Eelco, sisters in law Breda and Kathleen, brothers in law Seamus and Pat, nieces, nephews relatives and friends.

Reposing at O’Donoghues Funeral Home on Saturday evening 23rd from 5pm to 7pm. Betty's funeral cortège leaving her residence on Sunday 24nd to arrive at St.Mary’s Church, Gambonsfield, Kilsheelan for Requiem Mass at 1pm.

Burial immediately afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. House strictly private on Sunday.

Owen McBreen

Dunboyne, Co. Meath, formerly of Taghart, Co. Cavan and Trim, Co. Meath.

Died peacefully, 20th October 2021, at the Mater hospital.

Deeply regretted by his wife Máirín, children Orla, Donal, John and Fionnuala, their spouses and partners, Emma, Daniel and Liam, his brothers and sisters, Jim, Anne, Brian, Victor, Joe and Una, grandchildren, Cara, Conor, Arlo, Torin, Cillian, Cormac and Oisín, nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and neighbours, and former colleagues at Enterprise Ireland.

Removal to S.S. Peter and Paul’s Church, Dunboyne on Friday evening arriving 7pm. Funeral Saturday morning after 11am Mass to Rooske Cemetery, Dunboyne.

Please continue to wear face masks and adhere to social distancing guidelines at all times.

Maryville, Newbliss, Monaghan

Peacefully in the loving care of his family.

Reposing at his home until removal on Saturday morning at 11.15 am to arrive at St. Laobhain Church for 12 noon Funeral Mass. Burial immediately afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Deeply regretted by his loving wife Anne, daughters Jennifer, Deborah (Simon), Louise (Matt), Yvonne (Paul), his son Vincent (Angela), devoted Grandchildren, sister Lilly, brother Terry, nieces and nephews and entire family circle.

Predeceased by his father Vincent, mother Mary, brothers Christy, Hugh, Vincent and Seamus and sisters Helena and Norah.

House private on Saturday morning to family and close friends.

Sissie (Mary Bridgid) McCahey

Cargahogue, Shercock, Monaghan

Peacefully, at Lisdarn Unit for Elderly, Cavan.

Predeceased by her nephew Barry and her brothers, Michael,Tommy and Peter. Deeply regretted by her loving sisters-in-law, Margaret and Una, her nephews, Peader, Michael, Francis and Martin, her niece, Annemarie Cassidy and her extended family.

Due to HSE restrictions wake will be strictly private Funeral Mass on Saturday morning at 11 o clock in St John's Church, Raferagh.

Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Funeral may be viewed on Carrickmacross Church website scrolling down to St John's Church.

Funeral cortage will travel from Carrickmacross to Shercock turning at Bleach Cross to Conlons Cross, passing the Family home and on to Raferagh via Ardragh Cross, Anybody wishing to pay their respects may line the route while mainting social distance.
