Maguire hits clear round with Late Late audience

Star golfer featured on Friday chat show to talk about her first LPGA win

After becoming the first Irish winner in LGPA history with a three-shot win in Florida at the beginning of February, star golfer Leona Maguire was top of the billing on Friday's Late Late Show.

The Ballyconnell born golfer got home to Cavan this week, and after taking a few days of well earned rest, she joined Ryan Tubridy on Friday to talk about a whirlwind couple of weeks leading on from her inspirational performance at the Solheim Cup last September.

Global superstar and Mullingar native Niall Horan, whose sports management company represents Leona, also joined Ryan from LA to pay tribute to Cavan sportstar.

Leona had plenty to say for herself, including about how her family has played a major part in her success.
