Cavan man progresses in Skills Competition

A young Cavan man is compete in the world finals in Shanghai later this year after displaying his exceptional talent in masonry at the All Ireland Skills Competition.

Mark McSherry, a former pupil at St Clare's College in Ballyjamesduff, and a apprentice with McCabe Masonry, won his category at the recently held All Ireland Skills Competition.

he 46th WorldSkills Competition, earlier postponed, will take place in Shanghai from Octrober 12-17.
