Man charged with 25 counts of fraud

Relates to the arrest of a man who arrived on a flight to Belfast International Airport on Thursday, March 17.

A man has been charged with 25 counts of fraud by false representationin the North.

He has also been charged with two counts of theft.

The charges are in relation to detectives investigating a series of frauds in the Fermanagh and Omagh areas, and relate to an earlier arrest after the man arrived on a flight to Belfast International Airport on Thursday, March 17.

The man is due to appear at Enniskillen Magistrates Court next month, Monday, June 27.

“The 37-year-old man has been charged with 25 counts of fraud by false representation and two counts of theft,” a spokesperson for the PSNI confirmed.

As is normal procedure, they say that “all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service”.
