Nancy Farrell (née Smyth)

Mullagh, Cavan

The death has occurred of Nancy Farrell née Smyth Castlemanor Nursing Home Cavan and late of Drumbaragh Kells Co. Meath and Mullagh, Co. Cavan peacefully at Castlemanor Nursing Home in her 90th year, surrounded by her family.

Nancy is predeceased by her husband John, sisters Jenny and Teasie, brothers in law and sisters in law. Sadly missed by her sister in law Betty, nephews Paul, Christopher, Thomas, Martin, Seán, and Tomás, nieces Mary and Mairead, grand nieces, grand nephews cousins, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Matthews Funeral Home, Bailieborough Road, Virginia A82 YV58 on Friday 28th from 6pm to 8pm

Walk Through Only

Removal on Saturday 29th to St. Killian's Church, Mullagh for 11am Funeral Mass. Burial afterwards at St. Francis Liguori Church, Kilskyre.

Crohan, Virginia, Cavan

The death has occurred of Bartle Lynch, Crohan, Virginia, Co. Cavan. It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Bartle Lynch, Crohan, Virginia, Co. Cavan who died peacefully at home on Wednesday, 26th October 2022, surrounded by his loving wife and family after a short battle with illness. Sadly missed by his devoted wife, Kitty, children, Kathleen, James & Pauline, his grandson Oisín and his son-in-law Shane, nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbours, friends and carers. Predeceased by his parents Kathleen and James, his sister Nancy and brothers Pat, Tom & Hugh.

Reposing at his home (A82RX79) on Friday, 28th October, from 4pm to 9pm followed by prayers. House private at all other times. Funeral mass at St. Bartholomew’s Church in Munterconnaught on Saturday, 29th October, at 12 noon and burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Family flowers only please. Donations to The Cavan Monaghan Palliative Care Fund (www.cavanmonaghanpalliativecare.ie) will be greatly appreciated, if desired.

Margaret (Peggy) Mulvany

Galmoystown, Oldcastle, Meath / Carnaross, Meath / Virginia, Cavan

The death has occurred of Margaret (Peggy) Mulvany, Galmoystown, Oldcastle, Co. Meath and Dervor, Carnaross/ Virginia and Edmonton, Canada, following an illness borne with great strength and dignity at St. Francis Hospice Blanchardstown on 27 October 2022.

Predeceased by her daughter Patricia, her brother Séan and her parents John and Bridie.

Much loved mother of Séan and Michael.

Sadly missed by her loving sons, her daughters in law Melissa and July and her adored grandchildren Eileen, Liam, Matthew and Mattea, her sisters Sheila (Mc Grath; Annagh, Oldcastle), Úna (Mulvany; Edmonton, Canada), and Connie (Clarke; Dervor, Carnaross), her brothers Tom (Galmoystown), Séamus (Lough Bawn, Collinstown), her sisters in law Margaret, Christine and Mary, her brothers in law Tommy and Jimmy, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Rest In Peace.

Reposing at Matthews Funeral Home, Bailieborough Road, Virginia (A82YV58) on Friday evening from 5 o'clock until prayers at 8 o'clock. Removal on Saturday morning to St. Matthew's Church Maghera for 11 o'clock Funeral Mass with burial afterwards in Moylough Cemetery.

The death has occurred of Ciarán Mullan, Cornacassa, Monaghan, proprietor Power driving school. Ciarán passed away peacefully at St Francis Hospice, Blanchardstown (after a short illness bravely borne), surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his parents Kathleen and John, sister Imelda and nephew Damian.

Beloved husband of Mary and adored father of Eoghán and Dara. Ciarán will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his wife, son's family, godson Matthew, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours, friends and by all who knew and loved Ciarán.
