Charlie Keaney

Derrin, Ballinagh, Cavan

Wednesday, January 25th (suddenly) at his home. Deeply regretted by his loving wife Bridie, daughters; Cathriona, Fiona, Breda and Katie, sons; Matthew, Cathal, Sean and Thomas, sister Kathleen (Galligan), brothers; Sean, Mattie, Tommie and Philip, grandchildren; Ciara, Sean, Eva, Shauna, Dylan, Luke, Alex and Rían, daughters in law Sarah and Lorraine, sons in law Ciaran and Stephen, sisters in law, brothers in law, nieces, nephews, relatives and his many friends. Rest In Peace

Reposing at his home (H12 AD80) on Friday and Saturday evening from 5pm to 8pm. Funeral Mass on Sunday in St. Joseph's Church, Drumkilly, at 1pm. Burial afterwards in local cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu, if desired, to The Oncology Unit, Cavan General Hospital c/o Briody's Funeral Home Kilnaleck or any family member.

Peter McHugh

Stranamorth, Blacklion, Cavan

The death has occurred of Peter McHugh, Stranamorth, Blacklion, Co. Cavan peacefully at his residence. Sadly missed by Pamela, Susan, Michael Senior, Patrick, Marjorie, Ian, Garry and Michael Junior, neighbours and friends.

Remains reposing at Keegans Funeral Home, Dowra on Saturday from 4-6pm with removal to the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Doobally, Dowra for 6.30pm Funeral Mass on Sunday at 11.30am with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Vincent Smith

Greashlough, Killinkere, Cavan / Virginia, Cavan

Vincent Smith, Greaghlough, Killinkere, Virginia, Co Cavan died on 26th January 2023 peacefully at Fairlawns Nursing Home, Bailieborough. Predeceased by his wife Anna, sons Thomas and James, brothers Jimmy and Tommy, sister Kathleen and daughter-in-law Bridget.

Deeply regretted by his children Mary, PJ, Monica, Nicholas, Brendan and Paul, brother Nick, grandchildren, great grandchildren, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law and a large family circle, neighbours and friends.

Sean Duffy

Deery's Terrace, Inniskeen, Monaghan / Louth

Sean Duffy. Friday 27th January 2023. Peacefully, in the love and tender care of St. Peter's Nursing Home, Castlebellingham, surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his parents Paddy and Mary, sister May (in infancy), brothers-in-law Bill, Frank and Patsy and his nephew Patrick. Sean will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his sisters Betty Clarke, Phyllis Moore and Una Clerkin, nephews Brian, Kevin, Rory, David and Tony, nieces Veronica and Annmarie, extended family relatives, neighbours, friends and the wonderful staff of St. Peter's Nursing Home.

Susan Feeney (née Clerkin)

22 Lough Mor Avenue, Ballybay, Monaghan

The death has occurred of Susan Feeney nee Clerkin, 22 Lough Mor Avenue, Ballybay, peacefully at Cavan General Hospital after a short illness. Predeceased by her parents Packie and Kathleen. Deeply regretted by her husband Malachy, her daughter Fiona, Son Colin, her grandchild Caiden, her sisters Lily, Marie, Lena and her brothers Brian and Martin.

May Her Gentle Soul Rest In Eternal Peace. Susan will be reposing at the premises of Smyth Funeral Directors, Ballybay on Sunday 29th from 4pm to 8pm. Removal to Saint Patrick's Church, Ballybay on Monday, 30th January, for 11am funeral mass. Internment afterwards in adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to Saint Vincent de Paul, C/O Smyth Funeral Directors. A message of condolence may be left in the section below for the family.
