Mastek’s equipment works for both farmers and the environment

Mastek will have a full range of high quality low emission slurry equipment and applicators on display at this year’s Cavan Farm Machinery Show.

With agriculture’s carbon emissions currently under intense scrutiny, Mastek range of products will draw huge interest from those attending next week’s show in Cavan Equestrian Centre. The renowned Cootehill company has a proven track record of significantly reducing emissions associated with slurry spreading, whilst also working for the farmer.

Based from Cootehill Business Park, Mastek has become a market leading manufacturer, exporting their high spec product range throughout the UK, Europe, Scandinavia, Australia and New Zealand. Established in 1999, Mastek’s first dribble bar was designed in 2013, a development which triggered rapid growth in the company.

It has since built 3,500 dribble bars. In 2018 they designed their own Macerator which has been recognized as a renowned success all over Europe. Today Mastek supply customers with Professional Universal Dribble Bar (PUDB) from 7.5m up to 12m fitted with Mastek’s Super Cut Macerator. This unique design allows the PUDB to be retrofitted onto any slurry tanker, new used, without welding or fabricating.

Mastek also manufacture a full range of umbilical systems, which include 400m to 1,200m reels, umbilical dribble bars and pumps.

They are receiving huge interest in slurry separation systems which result in a reduction of up to 25% of slurry on farm. Mastek employs 42 full-time staff, in their headquarters in Ireland and four employees from their UK company.

The company’s mission is about helping farmers to develop their business efficiently, increasing sustainability of farms and cutting emissions.
