It is with regret that we note the following deaths from County Cavan over the past 24 hours, as reported on RIP.ie

None were reported for County Monaghan over the period.

Rosaleen Cullen (née O'Reilly)

Drumbannow, Loughduff, Cavan

Rosaleen died peacefully at the General Hospital, Cavan surrounded by her loving family on Sunday the 29th January 2023.

Sadly missed by her loving husband Thomas, children Sean (Sabena), Martina (Tim), Mairead (Gary), Noeleen and Seamus, brother Danny, grandchildren, Megan, Leisha, Keira, Xavier and Sophie, brothers in law, sisters in law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and a large circle of friends.

May she rest in peace.

Reposing at Reilly's Funeral Home, Kilcogy (N39W1D6) on Monday evening from 6 pm. with prayers at 8 pm.

Walk through only. Strictly no hand shaking.

Removal from the Funeral Home on Tuesday morning arriving St. Joseph's, Loughduff for Funeral Mass at 11o'clock. livestream:

Interment afterwards in local cemetery.

Thomas Gumley

Whitebridge Rd, carrickmore, Omagh, Tyrone / Cavan Town, Cavan

Thomas Gumley, Whitebridge Rd, Carrickmore, Co. Tyrone and formerly 15 Tullacmongan, Cavan Town, Thursday January 26th, suddenly at his home.

Predeceased by his parents Jimmy and Molly, his brothers James and Francis and his sister Lucy Mae.

Thomas will be very sadly missed by his heartbroken family, John, Christopher, Samantha, Sophie and Alisha. His adored grandchildren Amy, Alex, Katie, Casey and Rían, sisters Margaret, Jacqui, Maria and Rosa, brothers Andrew and Gerard, brothers in law, sisters in law, nephews, nieces, all his extended family and many friends.

May he Rest In Peace.

Reposing at the Mc Mahon Funeral Home, Farnham Rd, Cavan on Monday evening from 6pm until 8pm. Funeral Mass will take place on Tuesday morning at 11 o'clock in the Cathedral of Saints Patrick and Felim, Cavan followed by cremation in Lakelands Crematorium.
