BILL REAY

Bill Reay Tullynamultra, Belturbet, Co. Cavan, formerly of Marian Park, Drogheda

The death has occured of Bill Reay on 9th March 2023 at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital. Bill (Bilcher).

Predeceased by his sister Gina and brother Seanie.

He is lovingly remembered by his wife Marie and children Cian, Fintan, Aaron, Rachel and Lisa.

Sadly missed by sons in law Garrett and Paidí, daughters in law Clare, Sharon and Agata, grandchildren John, AJ, Sam, Eoin, Noah, Ava, Matylda, Ciarán and Lochlann, sisters Mary, Dolores and Noreen, brothers Barney and Gussie, brothers in law, sisters in law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Townley’s Funeral Home, Crosslanes (A92 XN75) on Sunday afternoon from 2 o’clock until 5 o’clock. Funeral Service on Monday morning in the Funeral Home at 11 o’clock followed by Cremation in Dardistown Crematorium at 1 o’clock which can be viewed live on here.

Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to the Palliative Care Services, Dochas Centre, Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital.

MAURICE SABOUR PICKETT

Kill Saint Lawrence, Waterford City, Waterford / Ballyhaise, Cavan / East Wall, Dublin

Maurice passed away peacefully in Waterford University Hospital in the presence of his loving family.

Predeceased by his brother Gerard who recently passed.

He is lovingly remembered by his wife Ala, his children Sarah, Ali and Florence and their spouses, Kent and Puneet, his grandchildren Layli, Nura, Zayn and Rian, by his sister Margaret, brothers Oliver, John and Grahame, sisters-in-law Charlotte, Stasia and Geraldine, and brother-in-law, Derek.

A member of the Bahá'í Faith for over 45 years, he devoted his life to the promotion of the oneness of mankind.

A Bahá'í funeral service will be held at Newtown School, Waterford at 11am on Sunday (March 12th) followed by burial at Kilbarry Cemetery, Waterford.

The death has occurred of Joseph (Joey) BYRNE aged 89 (Culloville & formerly Drumacavoy, Inniskeen) on the 9th March 2023, peacefully at home, in the tender care of his family. Predeceased by his beloved wife Bernadette & son Barry RIP. Cherished father of Majella (Hatzer) & Conor. Dear father in law of Martin. Devoted grandfather of Joe & Liam. Son of the late Joe & Minnie RIP. Loving brother of the late Patsy, Mary (King) & Annie (Woods).

Reposing at Mc Conville's Funeral Home, between 4-5pm on Friday evening. Removal at 5.15pm to his late residence at 20 Malachy Conlon Pk, Culloville (via Sheelagh, Inniskeen Grattans GAA, Drumacavoy).

WAKE visiting times : Saturday & Sunday 12-9pm.

Funeral on Monday, 13th March, leaving his home at 10:15am (house strictly private on Monday morning) to St Patrick's Church, Crossmaglen, arriving for Requiem Mass at 11am. Livestream of Mass available via the parish webcam : www.uppercreggan.co.uk. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Eugene Lavelle

Killycrum, Castleblayney, Monaghan

The death has occurred of Eugene Lavelle, Killycrum, Castleblayney, Co. Monaghan, Thursday, March 9th, peacefully at The Mater Hospital Dublin, following a short illness surrounded by his family. Eugene, predeceased by his parents Owen and Emma and his sister Susan. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving family, his brother Peter, sisters Mary (Lavelle), Rita (McArdle), Theresa (Sewell) and Patricia (Quinn), sister in law, brothers in law, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, aunts, cousins, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Iona House, Farney Street, Carrickmacross and formerly of St. Louis Convent, Carrickmacross and Drummerlough Beg, Magheracloone, Carrickmacross, Co. Monaghan.

The death has occurred of Sr. Mary Jo Hand (Sr. Louis), peacefully in the tender loving care of Curam Care Home, Dundalk, Thursday, 9th March 2023. Predeceased by her parents and siblings. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her St. Louis Sisters, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Deery’s Funeral Home, Carrickmacross (A81 C653) on Saturday afternoon from 2pm until 5.30pm with Evening Prayer at 5pm. Removal on Sunday morning from Iona House to St. Joseph’s Church, Carrickmacross (A81 K253) arriving for Requiem Mass at 12noon. Burial afterwards in St. Joseph’s Cemetery.

Sister Carmel Loye

Convent of Mercy, Castleblayney, Bessbrook, British Columbia, Lagos, Yola and Minna, Nigeria and formally of Tate Road, Belleeks, County Armagh.

The death has occurred of Sister Carmel Loye, late of the Sister Carmel Loye. Peacefully at Iveagh House Nursing Home, Banbridge on Thursday, 9th March. Predeceased by her father Tommy and brothers Thomas Henry and George. Deeply regretted by her mother Mary, her sisters Sally (Crossan) and Bernadette (Hughes), her brothers Sean and Oliver and by the Community of Mercy Sisters, her large circle of nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews, extended family and many friends.

Reposing at her niece, Lorraine Leonard's residence 19 Tate Road, Belleeks, Newry BT35 7PX (Please approach by the Newtownhamiton Belleeks Road follow the signs) from today, Friday, from 5pm until removal on Sunday 12th March to St Laurence O'Toole Church, Belleeks for Requiem Mass at 1.00pm, followed by burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
