Joe Henry, Bridge View, Dunancory, Virginia, Co. Cavan peacefully at Cavan General Hospital on the 20th of March 2023 surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his brothers Bobby and Eamon. Deeply regretted by his loving wife Bella, his daughters Vivienne (Anthony), Fiona (Zbyszek), Diane (Wesley) and his sons Joey (Katie) and Robert (Sharon), his adored grandchildren Amy, Adam, Aoibheann, Daven, Odhrán, Shauna, Olivia and Jack, his sister Irene, his sisters in law Helen and Martha, his brother in law John, his nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

At Rest

Resting at Matthews Funeral Home, Bailieborough Road, Virginia, Co. Cavan on Tuesday the 21st from 5 o’clock until 8 o’clock. Funeral service in Virginia Parish Church (A82VP96) at 2 o’clock on Wednesday with burial afterwards in the adjoining graveyard. House private please at all times.

The Henry family would like to acknowledge the wonderful care received by Joe from the doctors and nurses in Medical 2 in Cavan General Hospital.

Mary O'Connor

O'Connor (née McMahon) - Mary, (Huntstowns, Mulhuddart and late of Granafarna,Bailieborough Co Cavan) - March 16, 2023, (peacefully) at Beaumont Hospital. She will be sadly missed by her mother Margaret, sons Michael, Brian and Jonathan, daughters in law, Bernadette, Suzanne and Jindriska, grandchildren, Mary, Sean, Grace, Petr and Meabh, brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Loughshinny Nursing Home tomorrow, Tuesday the 21st, from 2pm to 6pm. Removal to Dardistown Crematorium on Wednesday afternoon to arrive for 1pm service. Family flowers only, donations, if desired, to Shine.ie or SVP.ie.

Harry Reburn

Clonraw, Cootehill, Cavan

Harry Reburn, Clonraw, Cootehill, Co Cavan died 20th march 2023 peacefully surrounded by his family at Cavan General Hospital. Pre deceased by his parents Bridget and Henry Joe. Sadly missed by his beloved sons Henry (Stephanie) and Stephen (Matti), his daughter Lisa (Eoghan), sisters Anne, Breege, Catriona and Patricia. His brothers Finbar and Patrick, grandchildren Elle, and Bella, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Reposing at Clarke's Funeral Home, Bailieborough on Wednesday 22nd of March from 5pm to 8pm. Funeral on Thursday 23rd of March to arrive at St. Patrick's Church, Maudabawn for funeral mass at 11 o'clock. Burial afterwards in St Patrick's new cemetery, Maudabawn.

Tommy Reilly RIP, Fairgreen, Arvagh, Co Cavan and formerly Moyne, Co. Longford. Tommy died Sunday the 19th of March in the loving care of the nurses and staff at Lough Erril nursing home Mohill Co Leitrim. Eircode N41 XE39. Predeceased by his parents, brothers Kevin, Noel and Packie and sister Betty. Sadly missed by his brothers and sister, nieces and nephews, relations and his many friends.

Reposing Wednesday evening 22nd March from 6pm until 8pm at Lough Erril Oratory starting with prayers. Funeral cortege arriving at the Sacred Heart church, Arvagh via Carrigallen arriving Thursday at 11am for funeral mass followed by interment at Coronea cemetery.

PJ Casey

Killynenagh, Drum, Monaghan

PJ “Patrick Joseph” Casey, Casey’s Cottage, Killynenagh, Drum, Co Monaghan, Sunday 19th March. Peacefully in Cavan General Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his loving mother and father, and sister Margaret Smyth.

PJ will be very sadly missed by his loving family: wife Theresa, daughter Ann, son John, adored grandchildren Ryan, Rebecca and Keeley, and great-grandson Joey, brothers Bernard and John, nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, relatives, friends and neighbours.

PJ will repose at Lakelands Funeral Home, Cavan (Eircode H12 RF78) tomorrow (Tuesday) evening from 5pm-6.45pm. This will be a walk through only with no hand shaking, please. Removal from funeral home at 7pm to arrive to the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Scotshouse for evening prayers at 8pm. Funeral Mass on Wednesday afternoon at 12 o’clock with burial afterwards in Corrinshigo Cemetery.

Family flowers only please, donations in lieu to the Coronary Care and Palliative Care of Cavan General Hospital, Care of Declan Finnegan Funeral Director or any family member.

The death has occurred of Ann McEntee, née Kerley, Greaghlone, Magheracloone, Co. Monaghan, suddenly at her home, 20th March, 2023.

Predeceased by her parents John and Maisie Kerley. Ann will be sadly missed by her loving husband John, son Padhraic, daughter Grainne, sisters Philomena, Bernadette & Mary, brothers Seán & Peader. Deeply regretted by her mother-in-law Nora, father-in-law Seán, Padhraic’s partner Aimee, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, aunt and uncle and all her family and friends.
