Sean's girl quietly ties the knot

It was just like any other wedding day in St. Mary's Church, Staghall near Belturbet. It was all calm and collected as the daughter of businessman Sean Quinn arrived for her big day last Friday. Aoife Quinn only kept her husband-to-be, Dubliner Stephen Kelly, waiting for a very respectable 15 minutes. Dressed in a full-length, strapless, white ruffled gown, featuring a bow with diamante detail on the left thigh and a fishtail hemline, Aoife looked every inch the gorgeous bride. The simple elegance was completed with a long veil with satin trim and a bouquet of baby pink roses. The bride was attended by her bridesmaid sisters - Colette, Ciara and Brenda - all dressed in full-length grey silk gowns with pink lace bodices. Apart from the odd Mercedes and Range Rover, most of the cars parked outside the Church of the Immaculate Conception were unremarkable and the kind seen at any country wedding. If they had looked a little closer they might have spotted that the groom, Dubliner Stephen Kelly, glided up in a sleek black Mercedes CLS 63 AMG. By the time the bridesmaids, the bride and father-of-the-bride pulled up to the church door in a vintage Bentley and a Rolls Royce, it was obvious that this was indeed no ordinary affair. Sean Quinn gave a single wave to the only press photographer in the gateway of the church as the car drove past the two friendly security guards who were protecting the entrance from the conspicuously absent crowds of onlookers and paparazzi. Wearing a black suit, black tie with a simple white rose in the lapel, he posed briefly with his elegant 28-year-old daughter in the doorway of the church. After the ceremony, the relaxed bride posed for pictures with her bridegroom, who works in the accountancy wing of the Quinn Group. Aoife is a company shareholder and director of the €5.9m Holiday Inn in Nottingham. Almost three years ago in the same chapel, Aoife's sister Ciara married solicitor Niall McPartland. The estimated 150 guests quickly dispersed for the nearby Slieve Russell Hotel for the wedding reception.
