Jam making can often be a sticky situation, but when the sticky situation is a business idea as sweet as any marmalade, the spread is there for one and all to see - so found one Ballinagh couple who have taken their cottage industry from humble beginnings to a point where they are now employing two others and looking to build a new premises. Moran's Homestore jams, marmalades, sauces, chutneys and relishes are the delicious kitchen creations of former executive chef, Dublin-native Kieron Moran. Despite leaving the professional kitchen behind some years ago, Kieron always retained his keen interest in food. His company, Moran's Homestore, which he runs alongside wife Claire from their Ballinagh home, has progressed dramatically from worthwhile hobby to their products being bought and recognised in 26 stores nationwide.
