What's on for the weekend

Wondering what to do for the weekend? Check out our what's on event guide to help you decide. Highlights include a Harvest Social Dance in Arva, Drumalee's Strictly Come Dancing in the Hotel Kilmore and the staging of '9 to 5' the musical in Tullyvin, as well as the usual fun runs, table quizzes, cake sales and much, much more.

HARVEST SOCIAL DANCE

A Grand Harvest Social Dance will take place in The Breffni Arms Hotel, Arva, this evening (Friday), November 17. It follows the very successful Valentine's Social Dance, which had a terrific crowd, wonderful music, and a fabulous supper served by the Breffni Arms. The music is again by the very popular “Lancers” – with a great mix of dance old and not so old, and a great new dance for the occasion – 'Apples in Orchards', - a very apt name for a Harvest Social Dance, don’t you think. Come along for a great night! Proceeds go to Arva Active Age. Doors open at 9.30. Dancing from 10pm-12.30 am. Door and spot prizes.
