Cavan woman dies in Donegal crash

The funeral of a Kilnaleck woman, who tragically died in a Donegal car crash on Friday, will take place tomorrow.
Orla O’Reilly, originally of Ballynarry, Kilnaleck and of Meadow Gate House, Carnamoyle, Muff, Co Donegal died on Friday, November 13, after a two-car accident, which also claimed the life of another man. Orla, beloved daughter of Brian and Helen, is very sadly missed by her brother Shane, sister Maeve, fiancee Jimmy, grandmother Maura, sister-in-Law Suzanne, nephew Eoin, Niece Marie, aunts, uncles, relatives and friends.
Ms O’Reilly reposed at her residence, Meadow Gate House, Carnamoyle, Muff, on Saturday, from 7pm. Her removal was on Sunday at 12 noon to her family home; Ballynarry, Kilnaleck, where she reposed on Sunday evening from 6pm to 10pm and on Monday from 2-10pm. Her requiem mass will be on Tuesday at 12 noon in St Mary’s Church, Ballynarry, followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery. Donations are in lieu to Donegal Young Carers.
In their appeal for information, the Garda Press Office said: “Gardaí are appealing for witnesses following a fatal road traffic collision in Co. Donegal. The collision occurred at approximately 2.30pm when two cars collided on the N13 at Moyle near Newtowncunningham.
“A male and female aged in their 30s were pronounced dead at the scene. A third male was taken by Ambulance to Hospital in Derry. The local coroner has been notified.
“Gardaí and the emergency services are currently at the scene, the road is closed and diversions are in place. Garda forensic collision investigators have been requested to examine the scene.
