Appeal following spate of burglaries

Members of the public are being asked to assist gardaí in providing any potentially useful information in a bid to track those behind a series of burglaries, which occurred in the region over the past week.

Witnesses and information is sought in relation to a burglary, which occurred at Church Street in Belturbet between 8pm and 9.15pm on Tuesday, November 13 last, during which cash and items of jewellery were taken.
Thieves, meanwhile, gained entry through an unlocked window at a house in the Derryginny area of Ballyconnell on Monday, November 12 last, which occurred between the hours of 9.30am and 12 noon.
Information is also sought following two burglaries in the Mullahoran area. At Clonlougher, Kilcogy, a Honda ride-on lawnmower was taken from a garage beside a house between the hours of 11.30pm and 7am on November 13, with tools taken from a shed at a house in the Callanagh Lower area, Loughduff, between 3am and 5pm, Wednesday-Thursday, November 14-15.
