Minister to launch Future Jobs initiative

Cavan's Digital Hub has experienced more launches that Cape Canavaral this year and tomorrow The Minister for Business, Enterprise and Innovation, Heather Humphreys, returns for another one.

The Business Minister will be joined by Minister for Communications, Climate Action and Environment, Richard Bruton, to launch Pillar 4 of Future Jobs Ireland and host a Remote Working Consultation Forum at the Cavan Digital Hub.

The event brings together members of the remote working community including enterprise, academia, policymakers and relevant interest groups.

The Remote Working Consultation Forum aims to inform research the Department is undertaking on this developing sector of the economy.

The event is a key part of Future Jobs Ireland, the new whole-of-Government strategy to prepare business and workers for the future. Future Jobs Ireland will encourage participation in the labour force through flexible working solutions.
