Suspect device near Monaghan border

 

Police are currently at the scene of a security alert on the Monaghan-Fermanagh border.

It follows report of a suspicious object on the Clough Road in Rosslea in Fermanagh.
“There are no further details at this stage,” a spokesperson for the PSNI said in a statement issued earlier this morning.

Its understood the incident has been ongoing since last night.

Meanwhile, An Garda Siochana have a cordon in place on the southern side of the border in Co Monaghan.
