Meath senior championship

Before the last round of the group stages of the Meath senior championship last weekend, there were three teams through to the knockout phase. Dunboyne, Summerhill and Rathkenny had advanced and were joined by six more. Dunshaughlin, Simonstown Gaels, Navan O'Mahony's, Seneschalstown and St Patrick's all qualified with the first five of those gaining victories and a draw enough to put St Pat's into the last nine. Championship favourites Navan O'Mahony's who were beaten finalists last year, just scraped through and will meet St Patrick's in a preliminary quarter-final. The quarter-final pairings are; Dunshaughlin v O?Mahony's or St Patrick's, Rathkenny v Dunboyne, Summerhill v Seneschalstown, Skryne v Simonstown Gaels. Intermediate quarter-finals, Nobber v St Ultan's or St Colmcille?s, Gaeil Colmcille v Carnaross, Donaghmore/Ashbourne v Drumconrath, Castletown v Dunderry.
