Kilnacrott Abbey Planning permission has been secured by the Kilnacrott Abbey Trust for the development of a fully serviced Abbey for the Norbertine Community at Kilnacrott, Ballyjamesduff. The development, which will be part single-storey, part two-storey, will include living/sleeping quarters, common rooms, oratory and all ancillary accommodation. The permission also provices for landscaping, car parking, entrance, treatment unit and all associated site works. There were no objections to the plans. Killeshandra office Michael O"Reilly has applied for planning permission to change the use of first floor residential accommodation in an existing two-storey house on Killeshandra"s Main Street for use as office accommodation. Cavan County Council is due to decide on the application on or before June 21. Bord Gais Bord Gais Eireann has applied for permission for alterations to an existing natural gas above ground installation at Drumbannan, Bailieboro. The alterations will consist of the installation of a boiler kiosk and regular kiosk, associated underground and overground pipework, light column, access road and 2.4m high chain link fencing and security gates. A decision on the application is due by June 21. Corlorgan Business Park Enda and Sinead Breslin have applied to Cavan County Council for permission to alter and extend a warehouse with office accommodation 'Unit E' at Corlorgan Business Park, Corlorgan, Cavan. The local authority will adjudicate on the application by June 21. Century Business Park P Elliott & Co Ltd has secured planning permission for minor alterations to units 4A and 4B at Century Business Park, Dublin Road, Cavan. The planning permission provides for the removal of the internal dividing wall between 4A & 4B to form one unit. The company also plans to install an additional roller shutter door and external loading bay with canopy to side elevation of existing unit. There were no objections to the plans. The Council stipulated in its permission that the new units shall be used for warehousing or light industrial purposes only and no retail sales direct to the public shall take place from this unit. Virginia apartments appeal A decision by Cavan County Council to grant permission for alterations to a previous approved apartment development at Deerpark, Virginia, has been appealed to An Bord Pleanála. Tommy Brady was granted permission for the alterations to floor plans and elevations as well as revised site boundaries and connection to existing services. However, this has since been appealed by Michael and Kathleen Cahill and others. They had made submissions to the Council in respect of the revised plans. A decision on the appeal is due on August 27.
