Culture Cavan gets airtime on London radio

Culture Cavan has attracted airtime on London radio, with Kingscourt's Gerry Byrne interviewing the County Council's Marian Smith about the county and all it has to offer.

Gerry spoke with Marian about all what Cavan has to offer- particularly in the year of The Gathering

Gerry, who has work as a voice for the Irish community living in the English capital on the airwaves for last two-decades will feature in The Anglo-Celt own investigation into the lives of the emigrant community living in the city.

The interview with Marian is available to listen to at www.spectrumradio.net/programmes/irish-spectrum

On last Saturday's show, Gerry also interviewed Dolores O'Boyle, representing a music troupe in Mayo, Jamie Connors, who with his brother Edward (from Wexford but based in London) come from a long family line of Irish singers and Steve Collins Jnr, son of The Celtic Warrior, who made his debut boxing in London this week.
