Cavan Christmas special on the airwaves

Tune in to the radio for a special broadcast from Donohoe's Mince Pie Cottage, at a mystery location in Cavan.
Cavanman Martin Donohoe, Nyah musicians and friends will be helping to bring even more colour to the airwaves with a Seisiún Ceoil na Nollag radio special on Northern Sound on Christmas Eve from 6-8pm.
'Tune in on the night and call back to memory those happy days of yore with the old céilí house,' urges Martin, presenter of The Wind That Blows, 'and be part of a very atmospheric traditional programme featuring Christmas hymns, thoughts and music.'
Invited guests will include former RTÉ Fáilte Isteach presenter Aidan O'Hara, Joyce and Sean O'Hara, singer and songwriter Charlie McGettigan, accordionist Philip Clarke, Mick Foster of Foster and Allen, musician Moyra Fraser, John Wynne on the feadog mor , Cavan lilter Seamus Fay, Noel Battle,eleven times all Ireland Mouth Organ Winner, Gerry Gorman on button accordion, Martin Murphy Drum champion, Eamonn Maguire storyteller,and lots of surprise guests Martin reminds people that this link with Cavan on Christmas Eve will be all the more special to those overseas.
