Voting for dream wedding starts next week
More than 100 guests attended our Dream Wedding registration night in the Errigal Country House Hotel in Cootehill last Friday evening, among them 60 couples who will compete over the next month for a massive prize - a complete wedding package worth more than €15,000. Our associated sponsors all also exhibited on the night; while guests were treated to the warm hospitality of the hotel with an array of beautiful nibbles on display - not to mention tea and coffee and a glass of bubbly for those who weren’t driving. Serenading the hopeful couples as they arrived was the wonderful singing sensation Geraldine McCaffrey.
Couples were led into the ballroom, which was beautifully set up with both the civil ceremony area, as well as the ballroom set for the wedding guests. It was a truly romantic and magical setting giving couples a glimpse of what it would be like to have the Errigal as the venue for their big day. Here the couples got a flavour of the wonderful prize to be won as they browsed the various stands set up by the associated sponsors. The voting will open in next week’s edition and will run for four weeks up to and including the edition of November 5th. Our couples will also be profiled - around 20 in each issue while the vote is going on. The competition will culminate in the results night, which will be held in the Errigal Country House Hotel on Friday, November 7th. All competing couples must attend on this night - as if you are called out as the winner on the night and are not present, the prize will go to the next couple.
