Cavan Man collects EuroMillions Win

A lucky Co. Cavan has today collected the €270,365 EuroMillions windfall won from matching five numbers in last Tuesday's draw.
The Cavan man who wishes to remain anonymous won the money on a Quick Pick ticket he purchased at Hannigan’s store on Main Street in Cootehill, Co. Cavan.
The lucky Cavan man admitted that the realisation of his win has yet to sink in and he plans to take some time out before he plans any major spending spree: “It’s only been two days since we found out so we really haven’t had time to process it yet.

“To us, it really is a life-changing sum of money to win so we’re going to enjoy the celebrations over the weekend and after that, we’ll sit down with our bank manager, pay off our mortgage and make a plan for the rest of the money,” he added.
