Car stolen from Monaghan overnight

 

Local gardai are appealing for public's help in searching for a car stolen in the region overnight.

The silver-coloured Volkswagen Golf Estate, partical registration 181CN, was stolen from a property at Tullyharnett, Castleblayney between April 2-3.

It is the latest in a series of vehicle theft from that same area in recent days.

Gardai are continuing to investigation the circumstances behind three vehicles- two cars and a van- that were stolen from a property in at Tonyglassen, Doohamlet between the hours of midnight, March 31, and 7.30am this morning (Tuesday), April 1.

The vehicles were all taken from the drive-way of a house.

They include a 181 registered white Volkswagen Amarak, a red-coloured Mercedes C Class, and a 07 white Ford Transit Connect.

All vehicles are Monaghan registered and have ‘MN’ in the registration.
