The death has occured of Gerard (Gerry) Argue, 270 Beech Park, Lucan, Co.Dublin and formally of Cootehill, Co Cavan. Peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his parents, Tommy and Bridget, and his brothers, Fr. Pat, Raymond and Jim.
Deeply regretted by his loving wife Mary and his Children Sarah, Ruth and Luke. His Brothers Eugene, Terry, John, Kevin and Noel and his Sisters, Mary, Chrissie and Joan, his nieces, nephews, relatives neighbours and friends.

 

Colette HUGHES (née Clarke)
Castleknock, Dublin / Bailieborough, Cavan

HUGHES (née Clarke) Colette, (Castleknock, Dublin and formerly Bailieborough, Cavan) - 8th April 2020, passed away suddenly but peacefully in the excellent care of St. Mary's Phoenix Park Nursing Unit. Beloved wife of the late Donal and devoted mother to children John, Dervla, Paul and Irene. Sadly missed by sons-in-law Tony and David, granddaughter Cara, sister Carmel, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.

Brigid Maguire (née Sheridan), Drumcrow, Corlismore, Ballinagh, Thursday, April 9th, peacefully in the loving care of the staff in College View Nursing Home, Cavan, in her 98th year. Beloved wife of the late Jimmy & pre deceased by her brother Dennis, her daughter-in-law Maura & her nephew Daniel. Sadly missed by her loving family, sons Tommie & Mattie & daughter Pauline, daughter-in-law Annamay & son in-law Noel. Also by her adored grandchildren, Darren, Shauna ( & her husband Anthony ),Emmett, Séamus, Níamh, Aoife & Aaron, her brother Jimmy, sisters-in-law Lily & Mary, nephews, nieces, all her relations & many friends. 

 

Patrick (Paddy) O'Leary

The death has occurred of Patrick (Paddy) O'Leary 2 Bridge Street Crescent, Cootehill, Co. Cavan, formerly O'Leary Bridge St. Cootehill. April 8th 2020 peacefully in the loving care of his family and staff of College View Nursing Home Cavan. Predeceased by his loving wife Roseleen. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving family Son Niall, Daughters Mary and Aileen, Sons-in-law Stephen Cochrane, and Patrick Mc Comish, devoted and loving grandfather to Ross, Kealan, Sarah, Craig, Keith and Conor, Brothers-in-law, Sisters-in-law, Nephews, Nieces, relatives and a large circle of friends. 


Edward (Eddie) Reilly

Died 9th of April 2020 at Cavan General Hospital. Predeceased by his brothers Packie and Jim. Sadly missed by his sisters Anna, Kay, Josie, and Rosetta, brothers John and Hugh, brothers-in–law, sisters-in–law, nephews, nieces, relatives, friends and neighbours. 

 

Mary Teresa (Ita) McCutcheon (née Keenan)
Ballinode, Monaghan

 

Formerly Coraghy, Shantonagh, Castleblayney. Passed away, peacefully, on Holy Thursday in the dedicated and loving care of Mullinahinch Nursing Home. Beloved wife of the late Eamonn McCutcheon. Predeceased by her parents, brother Victor, sisters Mona and Winnie. Sadly missed by her nieces, nephews, neighbours and friends. 

 

Sean Connolly
Clones, Monaghan

Formerly of The Roost Bar, Fermanagh Street, Clones. Died Wednesday 8th April peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family after an illness bravely borne.
Deeply regretted by his wife Bernie, daughters Maura McHugh (Brian), Brenda, Nicola (Paul) his sons Patrick (Helen), Sean (Vikki), Emmet (Louise) and his cherished grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Peacefully at Cavan General Hospital. Sadly missed by his wife Gertrude, sons Paul and Noel, daughter in law Judith, grandchildren Rory and Kieran, great-grandchildren Aidan, Liam, Ronan and Hugo, sisters Nancy and Betty, brothers Tommy and Gerry, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

James Sheridan, Clonkeencole and Tanderagee, Clones, Co Monaghan. Thursday April 9th peacefully at Cavan General Hospital. Pre deceassed by his brother Paudie. Sadly missed by his brothers Edmund, Arthur, Ciaran, Gregory and Paul.
 
Owing to the current government and HSE restrictions on public gatherings, funerals of the deceased are private and for immediate family only. In some cases, memorial masses will be celebrated at a later date.
